Volunteer roles
As a volunteer for Rock Out Against Bullying Foundation, you will serve as a vital link between students and support. Your roles will primarily fall into these categories:
1. Crisis Line Support (Hotline & Text): Act as a "first responder" by:
- Actively listening to build trust and validate feelings.
- Assessing safety and escalating emergencies.
- Guiding youth in creating a "Personal Playbook" for safety.
- Documenting interactions and support provided.
2. On-Site Tour Logistics: Bring the energy of our national tour to life by:
- Assisting with tour bus logistics and setup.
- Engaging with students alongside NFL Alumni and mascots.
- Distributing crisis line information and "Post-Game" materials.
3. Advocacy & Community Outreach: Reduce stigma and provide support by:
- Changing the "toughness" culture in sports and schools.
- Acting as a relatable voice for youth.

Time commitment
We understand your time is valuable. We ask volunteers to commit to approximately 4-8 hours per week, allowing for flexibility based on your availability and our program needs. Whether it's a few hours on the crisis line or assisting at a weekend tour event, your contribution makes a significant impact.
